Imoco Conegliano have conquered the
Women's Volleyball Club World Championship final and are set to
play against Chinese club Tianjin on Sunday.
In the semifinals in Hangzhou, the Veneto club including players
Cristina Chirichella and Sara Fahr beat 3-0 (25-23, 25-14,
25-23) the Nomia Milano club of their Italian national teammates
Paola Egonu and Myriam Sylla.
In August, Italy's women's volleyball team including the four
star players won a historic first Olympic gold medal in Paris,
beating reigning champions USA.
