Negotiations between Chinese carmaker
Donfeng Motors and the attraction unit for foreign investments
of Italy's ministry of business and Made in Italy for a
production plant in Italy have reached an advanced stage.
The plant would serve as a hub for all of Europe.
ANSA has learned that the project could also involve Italian
companies in the components sector and/or a minority public
stake.
Business and Made in Italy Minister Adolfo Urso at the beginning
of July met during his mission to Beijing with the top managers
of the Chinese company to discuss potential investments in
Italy.
