(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 13 - The regional administrative court
(TAR) of Lazio on Wednesday up held the defence ministry's
11-month suspension of General Roberto Vannacci after an
internal inquiry into the views expressed in his controversial
bestseller The World Upside Down.
The court rejected an appeal from the general, who was elected
top of the rightwing League party's list with over half a
million votes in June's European elections.
The World Upside Down became an instant bestseller after it was
published last year. (ANSA).
