(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 15 - Pro-Palestinian and anti-government
protesters on Friday vandalised the national cinema museum in
Turin and assaulted staff there, museum officials said.
"The Mole Antonelliana was targeted today during the
pro-Palestine march that passed through the streets of the
center of Turin," said Enzo Ghigo and Carlo Chatrian,
respectively president and director of the National Cinema
Museum.
"The Italian flag was torn, some walls defaced and the museum
staff were subjected to violence. "Without prejudice to the
right to testify our closeness to the pain of those who have
suffered and are suffering, we firmly condemn actions like
these". (ANSA).
