(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 16 - Two-time and reigning MotoGP champ
Francesco Bagnaia won the Barcelona sprint rate Saturday keeping
his slim hopes of retaining his title over standings leader
Jorge Martin alive until Sunday's MotoGP.
Ducati's Bagnaia cut Martin's lead from 24 to 19 points after
the Spaniard came third in the sprint on a Ducati Pramac.
But it looks nigh-impossible for the Italian to keep his crown
in the season-ending race, moved from Valencia after the deadly
floods there, unless Martin crashes out. (ANSA).
