(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - Ethan, a newborn who was reported
missing by his Italian mother Claudia Ciampa on August 30 has
been found by police in California where he had been taken by
his American father, investigative sources said Tuesday.
The baby was allegedly kidnapped by the former partner of
Ciampa, a native of Piana di Sorrento near Naples, during a
holiday in Puglia.
He was found thanks to police officers in the US who tracked
down Eric Howard Nichols, the biological dad.
Ethan will be handed back to his mother, who had urged Deputy
Premier and foreign Minister Antonio Tajani to help her find the
baby. (ANSA).
