(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said
after a meeting of the enlarged Weimar Triangle in Warsaw
Tuesday that there had been a step forward on European defence
bonds.
"European bonds for defence are a positive choice for us that
must be implemented: we will see if we can transform our
political will into a concrete decision. However, it is a step
forward", said Tajani after the meeting of the Weimar triangle
in the expanded format, with France, Germany, Poland, the United
Kingdom, Spain and the European Union.
"European defence is also essential to be able to count more
within NATO, it is right that there is a European pillar and an
American one, not to always be forced to ask to be protected, we
have to do it alone". (ANSA).
