(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 21 - ANSA and Lithuanian news agency ELTA
have signed a cooperation agreement offering partners the
possibility of utilising their respective news services for
editorial use and of developing joint commercial offers in
support of the communication of institutions and companies in
their respective countries.
The agreement was signed during a virtual meeting by the
Editor-in-chief of ELTA Vytautas Bruveris, at the presence of
Italy's Ambassador to Vilnius Emanuele de Maigret, at the
embassy, and by ANSA's Chief Executive Stefano De Alessandri.
Ambassador Emanuele de Maigret said "the agreement between the
ANSA and ELTA agencies constitutes an effective tool of
cooperation through which the reciprocal knowledge between Italy
and Lithuania can be strengthened, in light of the main events
in the two countries and of international events.
"It is an excellent example of the type of concrete
collaborations which the Italian embassy in Vilnius intends to
favour", he noted.
The Editor-in-chief of ELTA Vytautas Bruveris framed the
agreement as part of an international strategy: "ELTA is working
every day to further expand its network of partners in Europe,
and we are delighted to have found an opportunity to cooperate
with the Italian news agency ANSA. Having a partner in Southern
Europe is a great achievement for us and we know that this
friendship will bring even more diverse content to subscribers
on both sides".
ANSA's Chief Executive Stefano De Alessandri expressed
satisfaction for the new international agreement: "the new
agreement can constitute an opportunity to stipulate commercial
agreements able to promote the visibility in Lithuania of
Italian companies and vice versa, as well as supporting the
technological development of the two agencies through the
exchange of the respective best practices". (ANSA).
