Missed revenues worth 90 bn over tax evasion

(ANSA) - Rome, April 2 - Italy's tax agency in 2013
reimbursed 13.487 billion euros for a total of 1.5 million
refunds, tax office chief Attilio Befera told the Senate on
Wednesday.
This included 973 million in personal income tax IRPEF, 11.4 billion in VAT, 720 million in income corporate tax IRES as well as minor taxes.
Befera also said that the tax gap in 2010 totaled 90 billion euros from dodged IRPEF, IRES, VAT and IRAP taxes, according to estimates by the tax agency.
