(ANSA) - Viterbo, April 3 - A special-needs teacher was
facing prosecution on Thursday for abusing a 12-year-old
disabled boy in her care.Police suspended the unnamed teacher from duty on charges of maltreating a disabled minor following an investigation that uncovered episodes of physical and psychological violence including kicking, slapping, shaking, pushing, threatening and offending the child. The probe began following a report by the mother of the boy, who attends a school in the northern Lazio city of Viterbo.
