Pope Francis has recovered from a slight fever that forced him to scrub his audiences Friday and has now resumed his duties, the Vatican said Saturday.
Sources said the fever had been brought on by an intense
schedule over the previous days.
Francis showed he was on good form again by quipping, at a
conference promoted by Jesuit journal La Civiltà Cattolica with
Georgetown University of the USA that the publication's editor,
Father Antonio Spadaro, "managed not to talk so much this time,
and that's OK".
