A teacher at a school in Ostia near
Rome was assaulted by the Spada mafia clan mother of one of her
students she had reprimanded while she was in the schoolyard
Wednesday.
The woman, wife of a member of the notorious Roman crime family,
allegedly beat her because the teacher had scolded her son in
class.
When the woman left, the teacher called the 118 medical
emergency crew but eventually refused medical treatment.
The Spadas have controlled rackets in Ostia for decades.
