Italian shipyard Intermarine, a
company in the Immsi industrial group, and defense giant
Leonardo have signed a contract with the Italian Navy's naval
armaments directorate (Navarm) for new-generation coastal-type
minesweepers, and the connected logistical support.
The contract for the construction of five minesweepers for the
Italian Navy is worth 1.6 billion euros, with the option of an
additional one billion to complete the program.
