Italian taxpayers will give some 64
million euro towards drug rehabilitation programmes from the
'8x1,000' charity contribution taken from their incomes tax
returns last year, the government said Wednesday.
A cabinet statement said that some € 63,673,631.43 is allocated
to the financing of interventions deemed suitable under the
category 'Recovery from drug addiction and other pathological
dependencies', presented in 2023, until the available funds are
exhausted.
