Senate Speaker Ignazio La Russa said
Friday his astonishment on a Rome court ruling that invalidated
the detention of 12 migrants taken to a new processing centre in
Albania surpassed all astonishment and rendered him incapable of
commenting on it.
La Russa, a co-founder and bigwig in Premier Giorgia Meloni's
rightwing Brothers of Italy (FdI) party, told reporters: "I was
very, very astonished. But I do not want to comment on it,
because the astonishment surpasses any comment".
