INAIL said Monday that 776 fatal
work-related accidents were reported to it in the first nine
months of 2024, a rise of 2% on the equivalent period in 2023.
The national labour accidents and occupational illness agency
said 433,002 reports of accidents were submitted to it in total
over the same period, up 0.5% compared to the first nine months
of 2023 but down 19.2% on the same period in 2022.
It said occupational illnesses were up 22% to 65,333.
