President Mahmoud Abbas will be in Italy in the next few days,
Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Friday.
"In the next few days, the president of the PNA Abu Mazen will
be in Italy," Tajani announced in Turin on the occasion of the
Italian municipalities association (ANCI) assembly, speaking
about the progress of the Food for Gaza project.
"The 15 trucks are now in Ravenna and will go to deliver dozens
and dozens of tons of food and health goods to the Palestinian
civilian population.
"Everything is proceeding very well.
"We are doing it with the support of the government of Israel
and the Palestinian National Authority.
"We will talk about it when President Abu Mazen, another of the
supporters of the project, comes to Italy in the next few days".
