An estimated 18.3 million Italians
will be travelling for the end-of-year holidays in 2024,
according to a survey published on Wednesday by hoteliers'
association Federalberghi.
They will include 7.6 million who will holiday around Christmas
and 4.4 million who will be taking time off around the New Year.
One million have chosen the Epiphany national holiday to travel,
the survey found.
Meanwhile, some 5.3 million Italians will take a long holiday of
at least 11 days including Christmas Day and the New Year,
according to the poll.
