On the occasion of the first Italian Sport Day, the Italian Ambassador to Poland Luca Franchetti Pardo met today in Warsaw the Undersecretary for Sport and Tourism in Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government.
During the talks, bilateral cooperation in the fields of sport and tourism was addressed, in particular the opportunities for joint initiatives in view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Cooperation in the field of Paralympic sport, the sport economy, and sustainable tourism were also discussed. Both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen ties through concrete projects and exchanges of best practices by enhancing their respective successful experiences and promoting initiatives that contribute to the social and economic development of Italy and Poland.
