Saturday morning and afternoon are
expected to be very busy (red sticker) on the A4 highway towards
Trieste, and in the morning only on the A23 (towards Palmanova)
and the A57 Mestre Bypass (towards Trieste), as reported by
Autostrade Alto Adriatico (Upper Adriatic Highways).
Heavy traffic (yellow sticker) is expected on the A4 towards
Venice until the afternoon and on the A28 towards Portogruaro
throughout the day.
Approximately 188,000 vehicles are expected to pass through
the entire network managed by Autostrade Alto Adriatico, with
around 21,000 exiting at the Trieste Lisert tollgate, 18,000 at
Latisana, 12,000 at Villesse, and 11,000 at San Donà.
Sunday will see heavy traffic (yellow sticker) on the A4 in
both directions in the morning and afternoon, and on the A28
(towards Portogruaro) in the morning. About 173,000 vehicles are
expected to be passing through the network.
Road resurfacing is also in full swing on the final
3-kilometer stretch between Alvisopoli and the Portogruaro
Junction on the A4: the ramp connecting the A4 from
Trieste/Udine to the A28 will be closed between Saturday and
Sunday. The section between the Latisana Junction and the
Portogruaro Junction towards Venice will be closed from 8 PM on
Saturday to 5 AM on Sunday.
Due to the installation and positioning of prefabricated
slabs on the Sistiana overpass, managed by Fvg Strade, the
highway connection between Prosecco and Sistiana towards Venice
will be closed from 8 PM on Sunday to 7 AM on Monday, with
re-entry possible at Lisert. For those heading to Trieste, the
mandatory exit will be at Sistiana with the possibility of
re-entering at Sistiana.
