Polls closed at 2 p.m. in the Czech
Republic, where citizens were asked to choose 21 MEPs from 30
parties, movements and coalitions. Overall turnout in the
country exceeded that of the 2019 European elections.
In many areas it was over 30 percent, 40 percent in Prague,
Ctk news agency reported. The results are likely to be made
official on Tuesday, after being examined by the Election
Commission on Monday, the Czech agency added.
