Polling stations in North
Macedonia for voting in the parliamentary elections and
presidential run-off have been open since 7 a.m. (the same time
in Italy). Both consultations favour the conservative front,
whose success, according to analysts and observers, could slow
the former Yugoslavia's country European path, which is already
a NATO member and has begun negotiations to join the EU.
