North Macedonia's path to the EU." Thus, Ana Pisonero,
spokesperson for the European Commission, responded to a
question about Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski's
opposition to making the constitutional changes required to
advance Skopje's EU accession negotiations. The spokeswoman then
urged the country to "take advantage of the momentum that exists
on enlargement to advance decisively" in the process of European
integration.
