German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
stated that "Montenegro's chances" of joining the EU "are, in my
opinion, excellent." "No country in the region is more
determined to implement the necessary conditions. Montenegro has
recently implemented a number of reforms, particularly in the
area of the rule of law. And let me be clear: these are
significant commitments on the path to the European Union,"
Scholz noted.
