"The patient remains conscious
and communicative," the hospital in Banska Bystrica reported on
Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico's current condition, who is
still hospitalised after being attacked last Wednesday. The
Slovak government released today's medical bulletin. The prime
minister had a CT scan of his abdomen and "new actions are being
taken to improve his health conditions." Fico, who was seriously
injured by bullets in the chest and stomach last Sunday, is no
longer considered to be in imminent danger of death.
