The European Commission has
approved a fourth important project of common European interest
(IPCEI) to support green hydrogen, in accordance with EU state
aid rules. The initiative, known as 'Ipcei HyMove,' contributes
to the EU's goal of reducing emissions in the mobility and
transport sectors and includes seven member countries: Italy,
Estonia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Spain.
Countries will contribute up to €1.4 billion in public
financing, which is expected to spur an additional €3.3 billion
in private investment.
