A meeting on the cross-border work
between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Carinthia will take place
tomorrow at the Customs Museum in Coccau (Tarvisio), where trade
unions and regional and European institutions will meet to
discuss labor market dynamics.
The focus of the meeting, sponsored by the CSIR (Interregional
Trade Union Council) FVG-Carinthia, will be the long-awaited
face-to-face between the president of the FVG region,
Massimiliano Fedriga, and the Carinthian governor, Peter Kaiser,
on the crucial issues of the macro-region.
A previously unpublished research on the cross-border labor
market, commissioned by CSIR, will also be presented during the
event.
The Italian and Austrian national coordinators of the European
EURES program will also attend the meeting, along with
representatives of the European Commission's DG Employment and
AEBR, the European cross-border association.
