The international conference 'Shaping
a Competitive and Future-Proof Economy: Italy's and Poland's
Approach', scheduled to take place on april 12, from 16 to 18 at
the Rome Business School, Via Giuseppe Montanelli, 5, aims to
provide valuable insights into the economic strategies and
policies adopted by Italy and Poland, offering a glimpse into
the future of their economies.
The event will kick off with an opening session featuring
distinguished speakers such as Antonio Ragusa, dean of the Rome
Business School, and Valerio Mancini, director of the
Divulgative Research Center at the Rome Business School.
Additionally, Jakub Romaniuk, programme's director of the
Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies, will share insights as
the organizer of the Economic Forum in Karpacz (Poland). The
session will also feature a keynote speech from Francesco
Tufarelli, representing the Internal Control Office,
Transparency, and Integrity at the Prime Minister's Office of
the Italian Republic. The Presentation Session will include
Mariusz Strojny, rector's Plenipotentiary for Technology
Transfer and scientific editor of the Report from SGH,
presenting an overview of the SGH and the Economic Forum report.
Following this, Kamil Flig, from the Center for Entrepreneurship
and Technology Transfer at SGH, will present a selected chapter
of the report. Later, the agenda will delve into the
intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the startup
ecosystem, with Valerio Mancini providing an overview of the RBS
research center report on Start-ups Ecosystem, SMEs, and family
businesses in Italy. Valentino Megale, professor at the
International MBA program at the Rome Business School, will
further explore this topic.
The Economic Forum organized by the Foundation Institute for
Eastern Studies is the largest and most important political and
economic conference in Central and Eastern Europe. For over 30
years, the Forum has gathered political, economic, and social
leaders from over 60 countries worldwide. Last year's edition
was attended by more than 6,000 guests. The 33rd edition will be
held on September 3-5 in Karpacz.
