Between Ascension Day, the Adunata
degli Alpini scheduled in Vicenza and the Biker Fest in Lignano,
it will be a weekend of heavy traffic on the Autostrade Alto
Adriatico network. There will be three yellow sticker days,
according to the concessionaire's forecasts, starting tomorrow,
when on the A23 in the direction of Palmanova (due to the
arrival of Austrian tourists) and on the A4, in the direction of
Venice, transit flows will begin to increase; the same will be
true in the direction of Trieste - also on the A4 - in the
afternoon. The same route (from Venice to Trieste) will also be
affected by sustained traffic throughout the day on Friday 10,
while traffic jams or slowdowns will be possible on the
Terraglio - A57/A27 junction section in the afternoon. Another
day to mark on the calendar for arrivals and departures will be
Sunday 12, when the coincidence of Ascension Day and the
motorcycle event in Lignano will result in possible traffic jams
and slowdowns near the Latisana interchange, both entering and
exiting the highway, and both for those coming from Venice and
those coming from Udine/Trieste along the A4 highway. In
particular, flows will be sustained all day along the route from
Trieste to Venice.
