"The very important agreement on
fast trains from Italy to Slovenia has been closed," said
Edoardo Rixi, deputy minister of transport and infrastructure,
on the sidelines of a visit to the Naples Frecciarossa
maintenance plant in Gianturco. The agreement is "a step that
demonstrates how Italy is now a European excellence at a high
speed level."
"We also have important prospects in the United States and on
the Indian continent," explains Rixi, "but it is clear that the
European territory is of important development and today opens
up towards the East, also with a view to overcoming the
Ukrainian crisis."
