Spaniard Marc Marquez of the Ducati
Gresini team won the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano on Sunday
while Italy's double world champion Francesco Bagnaia came
second.
Enea Bastianini, Bagnaia's companion in the Ducati factory team,
completed the podium in third place.
Championship leader Jorge Martin finished 15th after the Spanish
rider's gamble to change his bike to one with wet tyres after it
started to rain backfired.
The other leading riders stayed in the track and the rain soon
let up.
The mistake enabled Bagnaia, who started in pole position, to
cut Martin's lead at the top of the standings from 26 points to
seven.
