Train services were reactivated
across Milan's railway network after major delays and
cancellations due to a malfunction, rail operator Trenitalia
said on Saturday afternoon.
Italian rail agency Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI)'s technical
interventions allowed the resumption of services to and from
Bologna after the reactivation at 10:30 am of the lines
connecting Milan to Venice and Genoa
The tickets of passengers who had to forego travelling or who
were unable to reach their destination will be fully reimbursed,
the operator also said.
