"Tensions are rising in the
Balkans, for example, in Bosnia, and we have seen cases of
serious violence in Kosovo, where 93 NATO soldiers were injured,
some critically: these are troubling incidents, and we must
remain focused on the Balkans even in the context of other
current crises," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at
the start of the Foreign Ministerial in Brussels. Stoltenberg
was responding to Volodymr Zelensky's claims that the Balkans
are "Russia's next objective."
"NATO will do everything possible to ensure regional
stability because it is important to NATO," Stoltenberg added.
