In Serbia, as in Italy and other
European countries, there has been an increase in COVID-19 cases
in recent weeks. According to the Institute of Public Health
'Dr. Milan Jovanovic Batut,' there has been a rise in the number
of tests conducted and positive cases since the beginning of
May, with current numbers ranging between 60 and 90 cases per
week. However, there has not been an increase in
hospitalizations or severe clinical forms of the disease.
Therefore, given the current epidemiological situation, the
Institute has stated that no additional preventive measures are
planned beyond the usual daily precautions, particularly those
related to personal hygiene.
